A fantastic stay just a short drive from Alton Towers, complete with a self check-in facility and exceptionally clean accommodations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of activities, and I enjoyed the great selection of tea and coffee provided. While there was no breakfast service, plenty of dining options were nearby to explore.

Cozy pub stay near the peaks
Spent a night here solo and really liked the vibe. It’s more of a cozy pub with rooms than a typical hotel. The regulars were super friendly, making for a chill atmosphere. Plenty of parking and nice outdoor seating. Dinner was decent, but don’t expect fancy cuisine. Wish the menu had more options though.

Close proximity to local attractions.
We arrived expecting a peaceful stay, but what we faced was absolute chaos. The pub had loud music and rowdy groups that went on until well past midnight. I had to cancel plans for my family because we couldn't bear another night of sleep deprivation. Terrible communication from staff only added to our frustration.

It was just a reliable pick for a fleeting trip in Waterhouses with incredible value for money. I had to wait a bit to register my pet's stay but was surprised by the comfy dog-friendly environment. Make sure to find the right entrance as it’s a bit tricky to navigate on arrival.

Comfy beds in the family room provided the basic comfort for a night’s stay. Close proximity to Alton Towers makes it a practical choice for families seeking adventure.
The family room sits directly above a bar, creating unbearable noise late into the night—singing and shouting till almost 1 AM. Unclear room entry guidelines left me wandering after parking, struggling to find the correct door with inadequate signage. WiFi issues compounded the frustration, with failure to connect often leaving me reliant on my phone for entertainment.
